Homer Richey papers [manuscript] 1917-24.

The collection contains papers, 1917, of the Albemarle War Census Committee formed to draw up a list of all the eligible fighting men in Albemarle County, Va.; including newspaper reports of the census, correspondence, working papers, and capitation tax lists [ca. 100 items]. The collection also contains papers, 1917-24, of Richey as adjutant and commander of the R.T.W. Duke Camp, Sons of the Confederate Veterans, and as chairman of the Virginia Confederate Veterans, and Sons reunions held in Charlottesville in 1921 (for unveiling of T.J. Jackson statue) and 1924.
